Chokin Butterfly and Flower Plate Gold Inlay Designs On Porcelain with 24K Gold Rim. While Chokin is the traditional Japanese Art of metal engraving that originates back to the 16th century, it was also widely used to decorate Buddhist Temples, Samurai Swords and Armours.

This plate is gilded with gold and silver and is made by  traditional hand- burned art. Japanese Artist YOSHINOBU HAKA studied under master RISHO ARITA.
