Betty Boop was created by legendary animator Max Fleischer. Therefore with her overt sexual appeal, Betty was a hit with film goers. Also despite having been toned down in the mid-1930’s, she remains popular today. Furthermore she has been featured in two different comic strips. One in the 1930’s and another in the 1980’s. She is still around today with her teapots and tote bags.
