During the February 2004 New York Toy Fair, retailers who placed orders were given a show exclusive New York Beanie Baby (style 40049) and could also order this retail version New York Beanie Baby. The retail version has New York spelled out on the bear’s chest. The show exclusive version has “NY” on the chest. Both versions have the same poem inside the swing tag.
