Description
This is a life-like figurine by Castagna. Castagna figurines are cast from alabaster and resin; hand painted. No longer produced, they are very collectible. Measures about 2″ X 4.5″ tall.
Alabaster is ground into a fine powder and then is reconstituted with a resinous binder which solidifies in order to be made into the marvelous sculpture.
Made in Italy. 1988.
