DC Comics

DC Comics (founded originally in 1934). Includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel. As well as the Justice League and the rest of the DC Universe. The initials “DC” came from the company’s popular series Detective Comics. Subsequently became part of the company’s official name. This makes the ‘Comics’ in the company’s name redundant.
